What if our guns were filled with water instead of bullets?


...or that we drew our bubble wands instead of our sharpened swords.

What if love lasted forever?

What if broken hearts were just mere bruises on the skin that could be mended by a soft kiss from a loved one?


What if car crashes were replaced with friendly pillow fights.

and death was just going down for a long nap?


What if band-aids actually did make everything better?

and the only thing kids could get high off of was life.


What if suicide was never an option?

and loneliness wasn’t allowed.

What if money was just pieces of paper that blew in the wind?


What if war was never invented?


Or humans accepted one another for what they were and now are.



....What if we lived in a better world?

The earth would be a better and safer place for our young.

Many suffering nurses would be dabbing off cold water instead of warm crimson blood.

Thousands of Bubbles with all the colors of the rainbow would float happily wherever the wind would take them.

Children wouldn't be confused why their father or mother weren't around or didn't want to see them anymore.

No one would be strong, but we would have each other to defend us.

Feathers would cover the road instead of innocent bodies.

An infinite amount of beds would be occupied instead of in the trash.

...Children in Africa wouldn’t have to shed their tears.

Parents, friends and cops wouldn’t have to deal with all the heartbreak and sorrow.

A lot of lives would have been saved from the tragic deaths they brought upon themselves.

Fathers and mothers wouldn't abandon their children on the roads.

Millions of lives wouldn’t have been lost over a small piece of land or a simple act of freedom.

Love would come easier than it normally does.



....A lot more children would know what a smile is.
